How to Update New Apple ID on iPhone

Way 1: How to Update New Apple ID on iPhone in App Store

When you want to change your Apple ID or just the password, App Store and other apps in your iPhone might request the new Apple ID. After all, App Store is pretty much what Apple ID is for. This is the most common answer on how to update your Apple ID on iPhone using the App Store, but you can also go directly to your App Store and download a free app, when the update account message will pop up instantly and you can update the Apple ID from there. You can do this by following these steps.

Step 1. Find “ Settings ” on your iPhone.

Step 2. Go to " Your Name ". (first option on the menu.).

Step 3. Go to “ iTunes & App Store ”. (If your iPhone uses iOS 10.2 or earlier skip Step 2)

Step 4. If you’re signed in with the previous Apple ID, tap on it to sign out then enter the updated Apple ID and password. If you’re signed out just go ahead and enter the new Apple ID and password.

For this method to happen correctly you’ll have to remember the old account, otherwise you’ll have to take some extra steps on retrieving your old password. The only inconvenience with this option is just as you did with App Store, you’re going to have to do it on the other main Apple Apps like FaceTime, iTunes, iCloud, etc. Also if you had some apps downloaded with the old account they probably won’t update with the new account.
Way 2: How to Update New Apple ID on iPhone in Settings

If you either changed Apple ID email or decided to change password, sometimes Apple devices have a hard time keeping up and automatically updating your account for you. In this case we recommend trying a general update of Apple ID on iPhone directly from the Settings.

Step 1. Find “ Settings ” on your iPhone.

Step 2. Go to " Your Name ". (This is the Apple ID section of the menu.)

Step 3. Scroll to the bottom of the menu and tap on " Sign Out ".Also Read:Welltorrent Proxy List

Step 4. A message will pop up asking if you want to keep all of the data in your device, tap yes.

Step 5. Go back to Settings and at the top of the menu you’ll find the “ Sign In ” option, enter your new Apple ID account and password.

Step 6. Tap " Merge " to combine the data of your device with your iCloud data.

While this can be a more effective solution than the first option we saw, it still doesn’t guarantee the message will stop appearing every once in a while because some apps will have been downloaded with the previous account. Another thing to keep in mind is that, if you have more devices connected to your Apple ID, you’ll have to repeat this process in all of them.

Move WhatsApp Media to SD Card with/without Computer

1. Move WhatsApp Media to SD Card on Computer

This is perhaps the easiest way to transfer WhatsApp media files to SD card. You simply use the computer as the go-between by copying the files and transferring them to the computer and then move them to the SD card. You will however need an SD card reader to complete the process. Here’s the step-by-step guide to help you move WhatsApp media files to SD card using your computer:

Step 1: Begin by connecting the Android device to the computer using USB cables and wait for the PC to detect the device.

Step 2: Double click on “My Computer” or “This PC” in the file navigator and then find your phone. Click on it to open the files and folders on the device.

Step 3: In the phone’s internal memory, locate the folder named “WhatsApp”.

Step 4: Simply copy the entire folder and paste it on a suitable location on your computer. You can then delete the WhatsApp data in that folder to free up space in your device’s internal memory.

Step 5: Now insert the SD card into the card reader and connect it to your PC and simply copy and paste the folder to the SD card.
2. Move WhatsApp Media to SD Card without Computer

If you would rather not use your computer to transfer the data or you don’t have an SD card reader that you can connect to the computer, you can use an app known as ES File explorer to move the WhatsApp media files to SD card. Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Download ES File Explorer from the Google Play Store and then install it on your Android device.

Step 2: Open the application and then click on “Internal storage files”.

Step 3: All the files in the internal storage files on your device will be displayed. Click on “WhatsApp” to open the files elated to WhatsApp.

Step 4: Find the folder named “Media” and cut it.

Step 5: In your SD card section, create a new folder named “WhatsApp” and then paste the media files in that folder.
3. Change WhatsApp Storage to SD Card

Perhaps one of the easiest ways to move WhatsApp media files to your SD card is to change the default storage of all WhatsApp data to SD card. This may not be easy to do without a third-party tool but there are plenty of apps that can help including FolderMount and XInternalSD. These apps work by allowing you to easily root your device so you can easily store any type of data on your SD card. Here’s how to use XInternalSD to change WhatsApp storage to SD card:

Step 1: Install XInternalSD on your device (you can find it on the Play Store) and then open it. In the app’s main interface, change the path for the internal SD card to eternal.

Step 2: Click on “Enable for Apps” and then select “WhatsApp”.

Step 3: Copy the WhatsApp folder from internal storage and paste it to the external SD card.

Step 4: Delete the WhatsApp folder in the device’s internal memory to create space on the device and then simply restart the device. From now on, all WhatsApp media files will be stored on the External SD card.
4. Bonus Tip: What is an SD Card?

Most digital devices utilize memory cards and the majority of memory cards are SD cards. The “SD” in SD cards stands for Secure Digital cards and they are generally small non-volatile memory cards inserted into devices like cameras, phones, camcorders and sometimes even computers to create additional storage space. SD cards can be instrumental in helping you safely and easily store media files like photos, videos and audio files that generally take a lot of space on devices.

Just like the various different kinds of devices in the market, there are also various SD cards with brand names like Samsung, Transcend, Kingston, SanDisk and so much more. These SD cards also vary by size, storage capacity and speed.

The SDSD (Secure Digital Standard Digital Card) support lower storage capacities below 2GB. The SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity Cards) can have a memory of up to 32GB storage. The SDXC (Secure Digital Extended Capacity Cards) offer a memory of up to 2TB. If you choose to use an SD card for storage purposes, the following are just some of the factors you should consider:

The cost of the SD card is a big factor. While you may want to go for the most affordable model, keep in mind that the cheapest SD card may not have adequate storage or speed.

The speed is also a factor. If you are going to be using your SD card in a smartphone, a class 2 is more than sufficient. A class 4, 6 or 10 would be beneficial to a photographer.

You also have to consider the amount of storage space you need and this will be determined by how much data you want to store.

The physical size of the SD card is also very important. It needs to be able to fit in the card slot on your device.

Now that you have all the information you need, you can go ahead and use your preferred SD card to store WhatsApp media files and save space on your device.

iOS 13 May Allow Users to Transfer Data Between Two iPhones Over a Direct Wired Connection

Changes found in the latest iOS 13 beta, released to developers on Tuesday, suggest users may be able to transfer data between two devices over a direct wired connection when setting up a new device or restoring one from a backup.

New graphic found in latest iOS 13 beta (Image via 9to5Mac)

As things stand, iOS users have two restore options in any device setup process. One requires them to download and install a backup stored on a computer via iTunes. The other involves using iCloud and wirelessly transferring data from an old device nearby to a new one logged into the same Apple ID.

However, new assets in the iOS 13 beta spotted by 9to5Mac's Guilherme Rambo include an icon that appears to resemble an iPhone with Face ID connected to an iPhone with Touch ID using a cable, indicating a direct wired transfer option will be available when setting up devices.

In addition, a related code snippet uncovered in the beta includes the user request, "Keep your other iPhone connected to this iPhone and connected to power until the transfer is complete," which perhaps refers to the use of a wireless charging mat during the direct transfer process.

It's unclear how any direct wired connection would work between two iPhones, since Apple doesn't sell a Lightning to Lightning cable that would enable such a physical link. Perhaps Apple intends to make such a cable available when iOS 13 is launched to the public in the fall.

Another possibility is that devices in Apple's new iPhone line-up, expected in September, will replace the iPhone Lightning port with a USB-C port. Apple already offers Lightning-to-USB-C cables for connecting iPhones to newer Macs.

According to Bloomberg, Apple is testing some versions of the 2019 iPhone lineup that include a USB-C connector instead of a Lightning port. It's not known if the company's final plans will include a transition to USB-C, but Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes Apple is going to stick with Lightning for the 2019 iPhone lineup.Sponsor ads:
